Avenica to Accelerate Growth with Addition of Sales Leader

Jared Phillips joins fast growing entry-level recruiting firm as
VP of Sales & Business Development

Avenica – formerly known as Gradstaff, Inc. – recently announced the addition of Jared Phillips to its Executive Team as Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Phillips will lead Avenica’s growing sales team and will be responsible for developing the organization’s sales processes and go-to-market capabilities. The company has been experiencing strong growth in recent years, and seeks to take that growth to the next level during the coming years.

“We are very excited to welcome Jared to our team,” says Avenica CEO Brian Weed. “He has a strong track record of cultivating lasting business relationships, as well as developing sales talent within his teams. Jared’s addition will accelerate our growth, allowing us to serve more clients and help more recent college graduates, many of whom continue to struggle to find meaningful entry-level professional jobs that have attractive career tracks.”

Phillips comes to Avenica with a strong background in designing, implementing and managing sales processes and high-performing teams. Phillips was most recently a risk management consultant with Cottingham & Butler in Chicago, engaging with clients and driving sales strategy. Prior to that, he spent two years with Hub International in Chicago, helping to build and manage its inside sales operation and sales training program. Phillips earned his bachelor of science in business administration degree in marketing from Xavier University.
