At Avenica, we realize the impact our work has on our candidates and clients, as well as on the environment. That’s why we’re proud to announce on this Earth Day that we’re transitioning to a paperless payroll system effective May 2019. Among the benefits of switching to a system that’s more cost effective and easier for everyone involved, paper waste is completely eliminated.
This initiative is beneficial in many ways. In addition to various other forms of HR-related paperwork, moving to a digital solution eliminates approximately 17,000 paper pay stubs/envelopes for our internal employees and placed candidates annually.
“Not only does this solution help us to reduce our environmental footprint, it also helps us to be a better partner to our placed candidates, giving them easier and on-demand access to their pay stubs and related documentation,” explains Senior Vice President of Corporate Support Jaclyn Schlaikjer, who—along with her team—has led the work to move to this new system.
